Bake Your Own Communion Bread

Weekly communion is part of our ethos. Our normal weekend response is recieving commuion together. It reminds us that we are all together in the Kingdom of God for the same reason – Jesus died on a cross 2000 years ago to pay the penalty for my sin, offering me the gift of eternal life.
This weekend we will return to the practice, even if we are sheltering in place. At the end of the message we will all receive communion together, but you will have to gather the elements for yourself. We usually use an unfiltered grape juice and Mediterranean flat bread from Trader Joes. But, whatever you use will be just fine! The correctness of the elements does not bring the meaning to communion. It is about your heart and sharing it together.
With that said, we want to invite you to join us on the journey! If you are up to the challenge, you can make your own communion bread from simple ingredients you probably still have sitting around your house! Follow the link below for the recipe!
