Passover Meal Together on Zoom

Yes! Passover is the story of how God rescued His people from Egypt as told through a meal! For the Jews, think of this as a family Thanksgiving meal complete with grandma's china!

We normally meet together around tables of eight in the gym and walk though the Haggadah (the booklet that walks us through the steps of the meal) together. This year we are inviting you to join us on Zoom.us and we will walk it through together!

The Menu

If you would like to fully participate with us, you can create your own seder plate to go along with your meal. Here is what you will need:
  • Shank Bone of a Lamb (or simulate something)
  • Hard Boiled Egg
  • Lettuce
  • Parsley
  • Bitter Herbs (usually Horse Raddish)
  • Salt Water
  • Matzoh (the cracker-like bread made without yeast)
  • Charoset (recipe here)
Traditionally, the meal would be lamb, but you can have anything else you want. If you want to keep it kosher, you should avoid bread with yeast and pork. Oh, and a bunch of other stuff about food storage, prep and serving laws.

Well, maybe you just want to serve a meal your family really enjoys!

See you on Zoom at 6PM!
